  • ALL ABOARD! This year's Kids Bike Ride Scavenger Hunt is back to explore Jersey City's Historic Train Network!

  • Kids will get to travel our protected bike lanes and learn local history, all while collecting clues to win special prizes! Each station visited will result in a stamp on the train ticket. Each stamp will earn one raffle ticket for prizes. Participants may visit as many stations as they would like.

  • Don't want to go alone? BIKE JC has organized a group Bike Train! The following 3 Bike Trains will be offered:

    1. Depart Berry Lane Park (Garfield Ave & Bramhall Ave) at 11:00am
    2. Depart Journal Square (Southwest corner of Bergen Ave & Sip Ave) at 11:00am
    3. Depart Gateway Park (along Merseles Street Grand Street) at 11:30am

  • No Bike? This year we're partnering with Citi Bike to Provide free Day Passes! Scooters are also accepted! (PLEASE NOTE: The number of requests has exceeded the number of available day passes and new registrants will be added to a wait list.)

  • No Helmet? We'll be giving them away for free! Helmets are required to participate. 

  • We'll also be providing snacks and water, so you can stay safe and hydrated!

  • The end of the ride festival will be located in Gateway Park from 1:00pm - 3:00pm and will feature music, face painting, popcorn, shaved ice, and raffle prizes.

  • This is a rain or shine event!

  1. Download and sign into the Citi Bike App
  2. Click on the Menu on the top left of screen
  3. Click on Get unlimited rides 
  4. Choose Day Pass 
  5. Enter your payment information. This is used as a backup in case you use an ebike or ride for over 2 hours. You may use a credit, debit, or prepaid card.
  6. Click Enter promo code, and enter promo code into pop up
  7. Discount/credit will be applied
  8. Finish checking out by clicking Join and Save at the bottom of your screen

This day pass activates immediately and works for 24 hours. If you don't yet have the Citi Bike app on your phone, we recommend you download it at home or in a place where you have access to WiFi. For best results, enter your backup payment information and activate this code the morning you intend to start riding instead of activating it at the start of the ride.
