Volunteers Needed for 2019 Hudson County Point in Time Count on January 23
Posted on 12/18/2018
Please see the following message from the Hudson County Alliance to End Homelessness.

The 2019 Hudson County Point in Time (PIT) Count, an annual census of sheltered and unsheltered persons experiencing homelessness, will take place on Wednesday, January 23.

Just as we have done in the past, we will be having teams of volunteers going out throughout the day on the 23rd to conduct surveys and distribute donations to clients who are engaged by our teams. Below please find a flyer that can be distributed with the link to sign up as a volunteer for that day, as well as the information about donations.

For this year's PIT Count we will be collecting donations using an Amazon Wish List to help us better streamline and track donations. The Wish List will be continuously updated and can be found at this link: http://a.co/jjaSKST. Donations can also be dropped off at the United Way of Hudson County on January 22 if you or anyone you know would prefer not to use the Wish List.

Anyone interested in volunteering for the count, or who plans on dropping off donations at the United Way, can use this link to register: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2019HCPIT.

Linked below is some more detailed information about the PIT. Please, if you can, start spreading the word about the Point in Time Count. Thank you!
