Public NoticesThe City of Jersey City makes a great deal of information available to the public.  Much of that information can be obtained under the Open Public Records Act (OPRA), however agenda for various public meetings (City Council, Planning Board, Zoning Board, Historic Preservation Commission) are provided prior to the meetings so that interested members of the public have the chance to review agenda items and attend meetings.
 
In addition to meeting agenda, the City also publishes Requests for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) for public contracts that are to be awarded under the "fair and open" provisions of the Pay-to-Play law.
